would it be possible to add a tv guide section to the app so we can see what is on?
Also when is the next release, seeing that it's been 2 years :)

Just in case someone is going to pick up this issue. These are the steps:

  1. Download guide from https://iptv-org.github.io/api/guides.json during startup
  2. If M3U or Xtream stream includes EPG ID, search for that ID in the above guide
  3. The guide provides the URL of the XML file that includes the EPG ID
  4. Download the XML file and search for all entries for EPG ID
  5. Ask user which language to show the guide
  6. Select the URL from above XML file that corresponds to the EPG ID in the chosen language
  7. Download the XML file pointed by above entry selection
  8. Finally display the information from the EPG XML file for the correct timestamp of the end user

I don't know if this is the correct area, but, only last week I installed Linux Mint after using Windows for many years.....trouble is, i know nothing of the Linux Commands, extensions, abbreviations etc.

I have explored the OS briefly and I like it very much.

The one program I really liked was "Hypnotix" but I cannot find any help on how to remove, add or edit any Channels. Is someone likely to be able to spare some time to help me with this program, bearing in mind that I am a total neophyte of Linux???

I thank any folks who are willing to help me.
