Please add support for custom tags in the InfluxDB telemeter

It would be very useful to have the ability to configure custom tags that can be added to all outgoing LINE messages reported by the InfluxDB telemeter.

Some context:

@kl thanks! what i'm looking for is the ability to inject some standard tags that should go out with every LINE message, as they get leveraged in our current InfluxDB setup for grouping, alerting etc. For e.g, something like a business unit (bu) tag.

These typically could be configured at an application level, where the linkerd sidecar is being used.

I noticed this in 1.3, but it seems to be only for Prometheus:

@linkernoob ah, interesting. yeah, there isn’t any ability to do that now, but seems like something that could be made configurable in the influx telemeter. i’d recommend opening a feature request ticket in the linkerd github repo.

yeah, each telemeter is configured independently, unfortunately, so that prometheus change wouldn’t impact the influx telemeter
