Enhancement: Support for Title along with Original Title #294
Comments
So I took a look into the code to see if I can do anything. I'm not a dev and has only very little experience it Python. I got confused on this part of the code, because it appears that the value fetched from API looks belong to 'title' only, I'm unable to see any part of the code other than this which actually fetches the 'original_title'. |

When I try to use mnamer to non-english, specifically Hindi (India), movies, the prompt looks like this
the file name proposed is in Hindi, which in the TMDB site is listed under 'Original Title'. But the problem here is I prefer to have the name in English since the keyboard support for Indian languages are not that great and it is much easier to search and organise with names in English. So looked into the API and noticed this,
the highlighted parts show the names in both Hindi and English. I tried to use Internationalization (
--language=en
), but it looks like that fields targets for the languages rather that title name.In the templates page the fields does not include a separate tag for other variations in titles.
So I would like to submit a feature request, to support a new template variable which can be used to get the 'title'.
