@iptv-org/core GitHub contacted me and said we need to remove XXX content from this repo, since their AUP disallows it:

Hello,

I'm reaching out on behalf of the GitHub Trust & Safety team to inform you that we have detected adult content in a live page you own. We would kindly ask you to remove this content from the live page within the next 7 days and add a disclaimer in the file to prevent unwanted access. Here is the specific content we identified as violating:

https://github.com/iptv-org/iptv/blob/gh-pages/categories/xxx.m3u

The mentioned content is in violation of the following prohibition found in our Acceptable Use Policies:

We do not allow content or activity on GitHub that:
is sexually obscene or relates to sexual exploitation or abuse, including of minors

You can read more about our sexually obscene content prohibition here:

Please reply to this message to confirm the requested changes have been made to prevent your repository from being disabled.

Alternatively, if you'd like to dispute that a violation occurred, please provide additional information to show that a different decision should have been reached.

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns about this notice.

Regards,
GitHub Trust & Safety.

I can remove this but I probably won't have time to do it for a few days.

It'll need to depend on the level they're saying. Should we only remove channels, or does it also concern the database ?

The database contains only the infomation not the content. I suggest to keep the database, remove all links tagged nsfw and non tagged IDs. Im not sure if that would include the history as well.

Okay I check the non Ids so far. Hopefully there aren't any missed.

I've took all the links normally, by looking through the database actually. There should be no more X channel in our playlists.

We'll need to modify the scripts to remove the NSFW channels too. Let me check them. I'll also modify the README.

Just add them to blacklist.csv

Thanks for resolving this so quickly! I'll email GitHub and let them know.

If we do decide to re-add adult content one day, we could always have a fork at a different Git host (or a self-hosted Git repo) that contains the adult content.

Self-hosted git repo probably would be the best option to be honest. Using different Git host might not be enough as they might end up following similar rules to GitHub.
