requests will automatically follow redirects to the leader if we're contacting a Vault server that is in standby. While it would be possible to optimize the redirect out by changing self._url to self.ha_status['leader_address'], it is far more robust (and probably recommended) for deployments to put an HTTP load balancer in front of the Vault servers and use /v1/sys/health to direct traffic to the active Vault server. End-users would use this client with the load balancer's IP address.
