Is there a way of visualising mean +/- error of tracks?

Have you had a look at https://github.com/higlass/range-track? The whisker mode shows the mean, std, min, and max values at a certain data resolution. Here's a live demo: https://higlass.github.io/range-track/

I don't think we support error bars yet.
