sorta confused on the "Wireless Connectivity & Android App" part.. I get the wireless connectivity with the esp8266.. but what is the part about the android app? Is there one? How do you control this? I see references to an OLED display but none shown or listed as needed anywhere.

I think it just means that with esp8266 like you mentioned it's possible to interface using an Android app. But from my little research one does not currently exist.
