Thanks for the suggestion! My current plan is to hold off from implementing passkey-only authentication for now. I'll wait to see how Google's passkey rollout goes, what other companies follow them, what common techniques and best practices emerge. If it looks like passkey-only authentication starts to become mainstream, I'll consider implementing it. |

It's great that we can protect our accounts with a security key (which can also be a passkey) as the 2FA factor, but it would be even better if we could use passkeys (or security keys, both as "discoverable credentials") to log in without a username or password.
