Store Log into Database

I'm interested in implementing a system to log certain details of both requests and responses, specifically the request date, URL, parameters, and the count of documents in the response. I aim to store this information in a database. Could anyone provide guidance or steps on how to achieve this functionality effectively? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated.
