Hello,

once we added our servers behind Tinc VPN server to zabbix server, it continuously reports connection problems. Simple icmp test (ping, mtr) didn't show any issues. zabbix server is using TCP port 10050 for connecting to it's clients. Once we put our monitored servers to public network and connect them to zabbix server, the connection issues go away.
ifconfig reports no drops and overruns.
We interconnected two network sites via Tinc vpn with 1.0.26 and 1.0.33 versions

Some updates here.

It's not all about zabbix. When I'm trying telnet to tcp port in a loop via Tinc, telnet hangs randomly on establishing connection and after couple seconds it finally establishes it.
There is no such issue when using nat for reaching tcp ports for internal nodes

Hi,

manually installed 1.0.33 version instead of 1.0.26 so that versions on both ends match and the issue gone.

I'll reopen this, because 1.0.33 is supposed to be compatible with 1.0.26.
