Overview

In JUnit 5.10, the JUnit team plans to provide limited built-in support for running tests in a GraalVM native image. See junit-team/junit5#3040.

Consequently, some of the JUnit infrastructure in Native Build Tools may become unnecessary.

Deliverables

  • Collaborate with the JUnit team to determine what JUnit specific code in NBT can be removed (and in what time frame to ensure that NBT users still have full native testing support on supported versions of JUnit).
