Cannot convert CC image on mobile device

I capture an image using Cardboard Camera app on an Android device, however, I cannot convert the captured image on any of the Android device's browsers (Chrome, Opera, etc.).
Is this possible? Or, can it only be converted on a PC?

note: this Issue has nothing to do with VRView.

The Cardboard Camera Converter at https://storage.googleapis.com/cardboard-camera-converter/index.html worked okay for me using Chrome on Android. Select file from Files/CardboardCamera/
