.GitInfo changelog

I'm trying to implement a changelog for each page to let people know what changed over time.

.GitInfo gives me basic information about the latest commit, but so far I didn't find a way to list all changes to a given page. Is this possible somehow or can I extend the functionality to make this work?

I've built that manually using a python script that dynamically generates a markdown file of that before the build run. Not really awesome (takes a while as well) but fitted my purpose. To my knowledge there is nothing like that in hugo.
