The Lushootseed does not have upper-case lettering at the beginning of sentences; upper-case words are foreign words, and this means there should be no automated capitalization in the LibreOffice rendition of Lushootseed. IPA is not subject to case alternation.

What happens in LO we have no control over. But we need to make sure the FST processing is correct. I notice that configure.ac has the following correct setting:

AM_CONDITIONAL([DEFAULT_CASE_HANDLING], [ false ])

which means that (initial) upper-casing should already be turned off. Can you give examples of behaviour that is unwanted?
