Hello,

I have Xcode 14.2, iPhone 7 with iOS 15.7.1 and macOS Monterey 12.6 running on win 11 via wmware workstation.
I set the usb 2.0 downloaded 15.7 archive, renamed to 15.7.1
Stuck on making iphone ready for development and preparing iphone for development
I event reset the iphone, using apple dev account.

Any ideas?

I just found the problem :/

Xcode 14 cannot be used with iOS 15.7 for development. (99847608)
Workaround: Use Xcode 13.4.1 with iOS 15.7.

Still not working, installed 13.4.1 copied 15.7 from here
