Tested ip2fqdn reverse lookup (bash script using dig) against crowdsec decisions -a list (20K ip addresses):

  • DNS server(s) used: 1
  • duration: ~2 hours
  • reversed entries: still to enumerate, good partial at the moment ^_^

Expected duration using 10 DNS servers: 12mins
Expected max duration using 100 DNS servers: 2mins
