Spotted with version 6.0.3 (elementary Updates).

Spotted Scenario:
I create a new event, save it. And I open it again, for example, because I want to add or change some information.
If I now click on Save Changes, I can observe how it appears briefly and flash-like as if a new event is created under the previous event. This also happens in the sidebar.

I would like to see either a smooth animation or possibly there are other considerations that make sense. For example, showing a toast that the changes have been applied.

Sorry, that I have not created a screencast, because there would be immediately visible, what I want to show. Unfortunately not all tools run under X11.
