I've used MCUFRIEND_kbv https://github.com/prenticedavid/MCUFRIEND_kbv with a 480x320 ILI9488 display. MCUFRIEND_kbv is a wrapper for the Adafruit_GFX library - so you need to download and install both libraries to use it. Mostly, it adds some initialisation functions for a few different displays. I haven't used the touchscreen part of it. There are some examples that use the touchscreen with it though: https://github.com/prenticedavid/MCUFRIEND_kbv/tree/master/examples What I did with it was fairly simple, so I'll paste it here. It might help you get started using that library. I made a serial graphics terminal with a basic command language using ! then a letter, preceded by some digits or a short string (value first, then command, similar to Forth). It was supposed to have a binary command mode too, but that's unfinished. There's a bit of debugging info shown on the screen which could be turned off. This was for a Leonardo, but there's really nothing that shouldn't work the same on a Pi Pico, with some very minor edits: ILI9488_3.5-Gterminal_Leonardo.ino
