PostGIS 2.3 introduces support for ST_ClusterDBSCAN:
https://postgis.net/docs/manual-dev/ST_ClusterDBSCAN.html

This algoritmn will probably give a more accurate and visual pleasing result than ST_ClusterWithin that we currently use for event clustering.

Make som tests on a local PostGIS instance first.
