I am a fresh DBaver-CE user. I try to connect to the database through an SSH tunnel over TNS. The SSH tunnel is set up properly (it passes Test tunnel configuration). I have properly specified the TNS names path in the Connections settings (I can select a valid Network Alias). However, the Test connection fails:
ORA-17868: Unknown host specified.: db.my-domain.com: Name or service not known
In fact db.my-domain.com is a local name that can be resolved by the DNS in the internal network, behind the SSH tunnel. Is there any way to enforce the use of a remote DNS (aka. behind SSH tunnel)? I didn't find such an option.
If it's missing, I will open a feature request as I find it useful.
