I believe you need to supply the main AVR zone, although in theory it should work on zone 2 etc too as there is only one tuner in these amps. To change the band, use:

I have a VSX-823, and when I try to set the band or frequency from the developer tools, it does not give any errors, but it doesn't change the band or frequency either. |
