Just use windows defender, most AV software does this to extort money out of independent software developers, to buy "reputation". Especially with that WS.Reputation.1 maker it reeks of this shitty behaviour. |
Using Norton in this century, how olde worlde quaint. |
In your humble opinion, @NZperegrine, are disdaine and snide remarks the best way to build community? |

Norton Squawks and Removes This When I Download
It suggest the file would attempt to do something nefarious to my computer.
Platform
Operating system and version:
Windows 10
OBS Studio version: 28.03
Expected Behavior
It should just install obs-midi-mg-2.0.0-windows-x64-Installer.exe
Current Behavior
Norton removes it, saying there's a security breach.
N/A
Steps to Reproduce
Have Norton installed.
Download the file.
Watch as Norton deletes the file in like 20 seconds after it scans the file.
Additional information
I'm not saying that this plugin will do something bad. Nor am I saying it's hacked. I'm reporting the feedback from Norton. That way, if you're interested or have time, maybe you can make whatever changes are appropriate so that Norton approves of the installer file.
