Hi,

I would like to report folowing feature request: In Inventory, I invoke camerainput plugin. When barcode is read, it would be practical to automatically start search for the value, and when a record is found, automatically open its properties.

It would be even better, if launching Camera from the Home Screen (Dashboard) would invoke search in Inventory - Global, with aforementioned action.
The logic is, when technician manages some hardware device at distant locality, he could use his smartphone. He would just scan the barcode (SN) and get directly to the device page, not needing to tackle the whole way thru tiny menus and buttons on small smartphone screen.

This plugin integrates with Physical Inventory and my never finished replacement for that plugin, "Asset Audit".

Both mentioned plugins had a page where you could enter a serial number or other identifier and immediately get back details about the asset. Obviously, neither of those plugins are supported in GLPI 10 and I don't have plans to finish my plugin.

For now, you can only use this plugin to invoke the global search rather than immediately go to the form for the first result.
