Links not working in all browsers

Thank you for your handy extension. I've been doing a lot of Medium publising at work lately, and have been using it to add a lot of 'Contents' menus to my posts.

Some of my collegues have reported back to say the menu doesn't work for them if they're not logged in to a Medium account when viewing the Story. When you click on an menu item instead of scrolling down to that section it just jumps back to the top.

Also, I've just tested one in Firefox and Safari and it doesn't seem to work even when logged in.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated.
