Description

Create a 3D-printed case for the device which encloses all components and provides access to all features and functionality.

Requirements

  • Sensor needs to read the actual air conditions
    • Far enough from the main board's heat output to not be impacted by the board
    • Might be a good idea to create an opening for air to reach the sensor
  • USB port must be accessible to provide power
  • Main board and breakout need to be solidly attached to the case via screw posts or clips
  • Display must be fully visible
  • NeoPixel should be visible if possible
  • Screen selector button must be accessible (see Add info screen #14)
  • Reboot function must be accessible. Options:
    • A new soldered-on button
    • A flexible part of the case that presses the onboard button
  • Have an optional method to attach the case to the aluminum extrusions on my Ender 3, on or near the top of the frame

Post-creation tasks

  • Publish the model to Printables.com
  • Link to the model from this repo's README
  • Add pictures to the README
