prepare for release:

  • Check CRAN issues
  • urlchecker::url_check()
  • devtools::check(document = FALSE)
  • rhub::check_for_cran()
  • local R CMD check --as-cran
  • Update cran-comments.md
  • Update NEWS.md
  • git push

Submit to CRAN:

  • devtools::submit_cran()
  • Approve email
  • Accepted email

git push:

  • usethis::use_github_release()
  • usethis::use_dev_version()
  • git push
