Describe what you are trying to accomplish and why in non technical terms
I think it would be cool to be able to have Double-Take update the label for a frigate event. For example if Double-Take gets a positive hit on me then it would update Frigate for that event from
person
tonick
so it would be more searchable / filterable. To be clear, I am not proposing this to be a way to "fix" false positives or missed items, so perhaps limiting it just to updating
person
to a specific name would be a logical limitation.Describe the solution you'd like
I'm thinking about a feature, particularly an API, but perhaps could be added to the UI as well. I am still trying to think about the practicality of this, if they would need to be defined in the config or how it would work to be supported in existing parts of the UI.
Long term I think support for this API could be added into Double-Take directly so it could be done automatically without the user needing to set anything up.
This is something I'd be happy to implement myself if you think this makes sense and is a good direction to go.
