Thanks. For those not wanting to go fishing, here is the config you need to add/change:
Edit, that actually doesn't get the stats for me, what am I missing? |

Where should I see these statistics? I get nothing about network in system page. This is my config:

Does audio contribute to the camera's motion? For example, I have the following: record:
enabled: true
sync_on_startup: true
retain:
days: 7
mode: motion Will record be triggered if there is audio "motion" detected even if camera is covered? |

Running on docker container in a Unraid server: I have added the Audio detection:
And assigned to the restream on each 7 TAPO cameras like so:
I have a massive CPU impact and I don't see any event: I'm using this youtube video to test the meow detection: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsKCwt0ADqk&t=24s And also I'm talking alone loudly, but there's no events. There no information/errors in the logs. |

Export is not working for me. I have this record retain config:
If I ask just for one day it gives me an error: And I see this in the logs:
If I ask for more days it says: I see this in the logs:
And nothing happens. The media is there I can open it with VLC. |

I'm getting an error when I try to setup the onvif functionality.
Here is my config for the camera:
Going into my camera's control panel here is the setup for onvif: Since I don't have onvif Auth on I didn't include the admin or pass in the onvif config above. Using Onvier on my Android I can confirm the onvif functionality is on port 80 and I can use the ptz in that app. Is there any additional logging I can turn on to see what might be the issue? |

It looks like I'm having an issue Generating Models for Nvidia:
If I remove the "- YOLO_MODELS" from the docker compose and have it generate the default yolov7-320 then it will create the yolov7-320.trt and it will boot up without issues. Any suggestions on how to debug this further? |

A question about audio detection... Is there any difference in CPU load with respect to different audio formats (AAC, PCM, G.711A, G.711Mu, G.726, G.723)? |

Hmm. How to get rid of this ? |

With the new motion settings does anyone have any recommended settings for 4K detect streams? I seem to be getting lots of very small motion boxes randomly. |

I maybe lost here but, how does PTZ work on the beta HA integration? Is it only the service so we can call it to modify the position or it's suppsed to have individual controls for movement? Not related to Frigate specifically but I'm guessing you can't overlay PTZ controls on the more-info dialog of a camera? |

Been running the beta for the past few days and I finally ran into an error I haven't ran into before. Motion captured a opossum last night, created an event and a snap shot but when I went to go pull the video they were all 2kb files. Pulling open the log I was greeted with this error over and over again:
I restarted Frigate and its all back to normal. Anything I need to adjust or look out for that would cause this and keep it from coming back? |

How these timelapse videos should work ? I tried to make some test video between 5pm-6pm and it took quite a lot time and frigate crashed. I got about 20min timelapsevideo which was approx 1 min long. It seems that frigate crashed creating that video, because my ram and swap become full. How it would be working with full day video ? Do I need terabytes of ram ? Will there be some options to create those ? Eg. lower the resolution and maybe some quality settings and maybe settings how long video should be? Would there be optio to choose eg. 1min video which covers complete day or something like that? |

I'm super excited for this release but I have to say that I'm not a fan of this change:
What's the goal, to separate them so that the db is local instead of on the NAS? Conceptually, the db is not "config" and I don't think it makes sense to put them together. How about adding a separate path for the db so people can choose where to put it? And if this path doesn't exist then fall back to the current default which will make this a non-breaking change. |

It's probably worth noting in the release notes that the migrations can take a long time to run, delaying full startup. My install took about 8 minutes for them to fully be applied.

I have noticed that motion is now being detected way more than before. I've taken a look at the draft and have increased contour_area and motion thresholds but a lot of motion boxes are now detected. I have an automation to turn off the lights if no one is in the room but once they turn off a lot of motion boxes pop up and trigger false positives of people detection (I have a low people threshold so it turns on the lights faster). I'll start trying with lighting_threshold to see if it improves. This in IR mode of the camera on a 720p substream |

I have 6 cameras in total, 1 at each corner of the house and a couple dedicated to the entrances in the front and the back. Is it really necessary to have audio enabled on all 6 of them? several of the camera are literally 10 feet apart. It makes logical sense that 1 camera per side of the house should be sufficient for picking up a sound. |

Ok silly issue...on my config.yml, I get errors when I try to add things like telemetry or audio. Basically it doesn't see them as options. What am I doing wrong? In logs, it shows that it has loaded the config without errors and I have using a second instance in unraid with the container pointing to the beta folder I created. |

One more question: In the release notes it says "Default values have been changed for motion detection. If you have specific values set in your config, it is recommended to remove them and re-calibrate as necessary." Which section would this be in config? Is it where width, height, fps is or different? Thanks! |

It seems that if I use in Zone, for example, person filters, Frigate no longer generates events for that object. In debug screen motion and region boxes appear around the person, but bounding boxes do not appear. I have tried different max and min areas an thresholds, but nothing helps. If I remove zone filter, then everything works as planned and it is using detect filters. Motion settings are defaults and I don't use required_zones option in event. Outside that zone detecting work in both cases. The zone is closer to the camera, so I would like to use a higher threshold and a larger min&max_area value for this zone. |

I just updated to the last version available (dev-080d7a2) from v12, I really glad to say that there is a noticeable reduction in the amount of CPU used (I've disabled the GPU & Net from the telemetry reported because I noticed a high overhead).... thank you! however I've to say that I did noticed a weird issue that I'm almost sure is due to go2rtc... basically when I try to open a webRTC stream from Firefox in Linux, the connection to the camera is reset... this doesn't happen with my phone, tablet, etc.... and the only error I see is "unable to populate media section, RTPSender created with no codecs".... as long as I don't open a stream in Linux everything is stable I've updated an issue in the go2rtc project with all the details: |

I was looking at the API for creating a manual event. Nice feature! How it is designed now, is that the event is based on live footage. What I would like to have is function to add an event based on footage in the past. This would also solve the situation as described here. Extra input parameter would be the start epoch of the event, probably with a mandatory duration. What do you think about this? |

0.13 looks great. Quite an increase on default CPU usage from 0.12 in my case, but I will re-tune motion for my cameras and see if that gets it back in line. I do also have cameras running at higher resolutions (in one case for face ID purposes, and in another to detect smaller objects on wide-angle cameras) so will try the frame_height tweak as well and see if that improves detection. Only issue I've noticed so far is that when restarting for a config change, I just had Frigate take exactly 2 minutes to shutdown.
Here's a look at
The only known issue I have in my setup currently is that some of my cheap revotech cameras do occasionally have issues streaming, and I have 1 camera on Wifi that similarly drops out from time to time. |

As another commenter has said, quite a bit more cpu usage in this new beta, but what I'm curious about is how the CPU usage in the System part gets calculated? There seems to be a big discrepancy between those numbers and the actual CPU usage. For example, my current overall CPU usage for the frigate docker container hovers between 60 and 75% of my i7-9700K. But when I check the system stats here is what I have:
Which all adds up to about 13.9%, not very close to the actual 60~75% current usage. I know these stats are mostly "point in time" but I've checked numerous times and the total reported CPU usage never comes close to the actual usage. Am I missing something? Is there another datapoint regarding CPU usage that I should in the config? |

These timelapse videos are amazing, but we really need a lot of settings for determining the size of the videos. Additionally, it would be great if these could be created automatically, for example, every day. As an example, a timelapse could be created every night at 00:00 from the previous day, scaled to 720p resolution, with the entire day condensed into 2 minutes. Furthermore, in the future, it could be possible to "slow down" the timelapse at detected event points. |

I couldn't find a discussion already for 0.13.0 Beta 1.
I was just reading the logs and saw this in the changes:
Add go2rtc & remote detectors network bandwidth usage to System table by @skrashevich in #6526
However, my system page doesn't appear to have network bandwidth. Am I missing it?
