[Config Support]: Frigate is causing my network latency to spike when enabled.

Describe the problem you are having

Hoping to get some help with my config - when frigate is running, I get high latency throughout my network - I believe I need to use sub streams for detection? although unsure where in the config to include this. Could someone please help me out on this please.

You should not be overriding all of the input args with just -tag, this is the first issue I see

And yes detection should not be run at this high of a resolution. The getting started docs show this https://docs.frigate.video/guides/getting_started#step-6-enable-recording-andor-snapshots

Thank you, I have now updated my config to remove the override and have now set it up manually per camera "input_args: preset-rtsp-restream", I have also added my sub streams and included them to the detect role - sadly I am still facing latency issues on my network.

When testing pinging google from any machine on my LAN with frigate running I will go from 4ms up to 150ms randomly:

The current work around I have is forcing the HAos box to a 100Mbps connection rather than a gigabit connection as this only occurs on the gigabit connection to the box.

Decided to rebuild from bare-metal to a virtualized machine in Proxmox, issue has been resolved.
