Thanks for quick response. Sounds like if I do have a substream, I use the smaller one for detection, and the big one for recording. Now for cameras that do not have a smaller substream, I don't wan't to reduce the detection resolution to avoid spending CPU cycles to resize right (I recall seeing this from other docs)? |

Describe the problem you are having
I've been looking at
top
and am seeing Frigate use a huge chunk of my CPU and memory and can't help but think I can optimize my config a little bit, but am not sure how. I'd like some input from the community regarding this if possibleMy PC is a bit dated, so it could be that:
