Hi, The sync is currently not started/managed by DAVx5 itself, but by the Android sync framework. This framework requires Internet connection before it will initiate a sync. So if you're in airplane mode, DAVx5 should not sync automatically… very strange. Can you provide steps to reproduce? Is it enough to go to airplane mode and wait? |

I get a lot of that error because I have a locally hosted NextCloud instance that is only available in my local network. When I leave the house, syncs (that take a rather long time because I sync years of past events) get interrupted resulting in errors, even though DAVx⁵ is set to snyc only in my WiFi network. Is there any way of suppressing these errors if the network connection changes, or is that also handled by the sync framework? |

Hi
First of all, thank you for your amazing work.
This is kind of a feature request. I have been using your app for a few years now with my own personal nextcloud server on a dedicated server.
I switch to airplane mode often. Each time I do, I get notified by the davsync app that sync failed. When I open the app, I can see that it knows that my android device is on airplane mode.
Why is the app trying to sync when the device is completely offline? I know you can still enable wi-fi when in airplane mode, but wouldn't that be possible for the app to acknowledge that the device is completely offline and thus NOT try to sync? That would save battery, cpu and human attention (no annoying error notifications).
I am using the app on both a samsung galaxy A41 and a samsung galaxy tab S7+
