Screen Brightness is very faint

My V2 knomi was working fine and im really happy with it, however ive had an issue since last turning on my printer. the screen at first seemed like it wouldn't turn on so i removed it from the SB shell to trouble shoot the issue on the computer. The screen doesnt actually turn off but is however very very faint (you need to look hard to see that its still on). the knomi still connects to the network and other than the screen issue is working fine. has anyone encountered this or can you suggest what might be causing the issue? any help would be greatly appreciated.
