Feature Request : Support socks5 proxies

The current plugin support http proxies only

Many sites have only socks5 style proxies

Enabling socks5 compatibility within the plugin would widen the scope of useability.

This is not a high priority issue as we are working on other things, but If anyone would like to research this issue and/or provide a POC draft request that would help.

It might be better to revisit the whole Proxy code and make it general to Archi. This would solve the problem of using a proxy in checking for Archi updates.

as I don't know java, i'm unable to help with this.

In the interim, i was able to get "polipo" to function as an http-proxy to socks5-proxy bridge.
