🔖 Feature description

Enable Kotlin runtime on Appwrite Cloud

🎤 Pitch

Currently Appwrite Cloud supports Node, PHP, Ruby, Python and Dart runtimes so it is only possible to test and create functions in those languages.
Please consider adding Kotlin to the list as well.
It is already available on self-hosted version, but support on the Cloud would enable a lot of Kotlin and Android developers to easily create custom code and backends.

@zlmr, thanks for creating this issue! 🙏🏼 We plan to gradually add more runtimes to Cloud depending on our compute performance. In the meantime, we'll keep an eye on the demand by the community via 👍🏼 on the issue.

👍
As others have mentioned, this is the only thing keeping me on self-hosted instead of a paid plan. Months ago I created feature request and offered to create a PR on the open-runtimes repo for having the Kotlin library uploaded to Jitpack. I also forked the open-runtimes SDK and modified it to make my Appwrite functions locally testable in both unit and integration tests.

I'm invested in the Kotlin ecosystem for Appwrite. I'd also be happy to create a new runtime environment for 1.9.
