🚀 Feature: Kotlin runtime on Appwrite Cloud #7467
Comments
@zlmr, thanks for creating this issue! 🙏🏼 We plan to gradually add more runtimes to Cloud depending on our compute performance. In the meantime, we'll keep an eye on the demand by the community via 👍🏼 on the issue. |
👍 I'm invested in the Kotlin ecosystem for Appwrite. I'd also be happy to create a new runtime environment for 1.9. |

🔖 Feature description
Enable Kotlin runtime on Appwrite Cloud
🎤 Pitch
Currently Appwrite Cloud supports Node, PHP, Ruby, Python and Dart runtimes so it is only possible to test and create functions in those languages.
Please consider adding Kotlin to the list as well.
It is already available on self-hosted version, but support on the Cloud would enable a lot of Kotlin and Android developers to easily create custom code and backends.
