Postprocessing - Decreasing #Blocks but increasing #Blocknodes to keep resolution #10

loading .h5 data into paraview can be very slow for large numbers of blocks. It would be nice to have a tool which reduces the number of blocks without loosing the resolution.

Maybe on can decrease the number of blocks iteratively by merging two into one, i.e. increasing the number of block nodes?

Sorry...was the wrong issue to close 👎 But it should be changed to

write smart postprocessing script for visualizing data
