Hello, could you please fix your README so it works for everybody?
When I use your l2.exe, I get:

C:\Program Files\Lineage II\system\L2.bin
This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action. Please install an app or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Apps Settings page.

How do I fix such thing? I have checked Default Apps Settings page and there is .bin but its not associated to anything. When I click + sign to associate it to something, it shows (pick your app from Microsoft Store)

Thank you in advance! :)

Hello,

I found a solution. You have to right-click on the compiled l2.exe file and start it as administrator. After that, the game will start.

I can't run the game this way.

I get:

The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail.

Do you have this L2.bin file in your system folder? Because some clients like Interlude does not contain it. Only l2.exe is present.
