Whenever plugin updates are retrieved in a multisite environment, it seems that the license activation state is not being applied for our products.

The situation described is as follows:

  • Multisite environment
  • Have a domain as main domain which has a plugin active in My Yoast
  • Change the domain name
  • Have no activated plugins for the new domain in My Yoast
  • Update plugin versions (which should invalidate the license)
  • Fail to receive a notification about not receiving updates & support
  • See the plugin being inactive on the Premium tab
