Incorrect SEO score when post type is noindexed #7127
Comments
Please inform the customer of conversation # 197216 when this conversation has been closed. |
The above user would like to set all his posts to noindex by default and then use the SEO score feature to figure out what posts need to be optimized. After a post has been optimized, he would set the post to index. As the SEO score doesn't show the right colour, there's no way to know what posts are actually indexed/noindexed. |
Still relevant with Yoast SEO 5.9.3. |
Yoast 9.7 has the posts overview page fixed, but the widget on the dashboard still shows only the manual set posts. |
Edit:
This issue is partly solved. The posts page does now display all blue icons, but the dashboard widget only shows the amount of posts that have it set manually.
What did you expect to happen?
When a post type is set to noindex under "SEO > Titles & Metas > Post Types", the all post page (and the post overview widget) would show a blue-coloured SEO score for all posts.
What happened instead?
Only posts that have been individually set to noindex show a blue SEO score (see images below).
How can we reproduce this behavior?
