What did you expect to happen?

I expected the metabox on both Terms and Posts to be consistent. Specifically the Meta Keywords, after using the post metabox for a while and looking at the term metabox it took a moment to find the keywords field on the advanced tab.

As well it would be nice to have the meta keys be consistent specifically for keywords;
Post Meta - _yoast_wpseo_metakeywords
Term Meta - wpseo_metakey
*I understand why post meta has yoast prefix it's more the end part 'metakeywords' vs 'metakey'.

How can we reproduce this behavior?

Enable keywords and the metabox on terms. Then compare the keywords field placement.
Secondly saving keywords in both fields you'll find in the DB the meta field difference.

Can you provide a link to a page which shows this issue?

This definitely needs to be made more consistent.

(note that we're removing meta keywords everywhere, so we won't add them here either.)
