What did you expect to happen?

It's always been that way.

Will there be a future version so we can select these three options as default, too?

@PENTAGON4 PENTAGON4 changed the title Option for sitewide NOODP but no option for sitewide NOARCHIVE, and NOIMAGE No option for default NOARCHIVE, and NOIMAGE in Titles & Metas May 29, 2016

user would like a global noarchive tag to be present. It would make sense to add it in the titles and metas section with the other robot tags.

User adds "Please consider for the future, nearly all major online newspapers, even the New York Times, add the meta noarchive. And for pages with paywalls it is essentially that the content is not accessible through e.g. Google cache."

Yes, we eventually want this. We'll probably won't get to this, so feel free to contribute this.

Hi,
This feature would be a very welcome one.
There are even strong legal arguments in favor of it, some of which are described here:
https://noarchive.net/

I'm sure this shouldn't be more difficult that integrating Yoast with Gutenberg ^_^

Cheers!
