Incorrect link in admin #19144
Comments
Just noticed, it also occurs in the "Skip installation" link in the bottom right of the initial install screen. |
Any feedback/response ? |
Hey @Beee4life, Thank you for reaching out, apologies for the long wait. It looks like this is a similar issue, where we are not using the WordPress Home URL correctly. |
What's the issue then ? Doesn't seem like something that can't be fixed. Can't you use ABSPATH ? That should be set on each installation. |
Please give us a description of what happened.
The link in the admin which links to
/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpseo_titles#top#post-types
in/js/dist/classic-editor.js
on line 427 is incorrect.Related: this is also defined in
block-editor.js
andelementor.js
.Please describe what you expected to happen and why.
The aforementioned link is shown on the tab 'Scheme' below the options.
The link doesn't take into account that Wordpress can be installed in a sub-folder.
A related issue, after activating the plugin for the first time (in a sandbox environment), then clicking Skip to bypass the initial setup, also redirects to a link without the sub-folder.
I was directed to
/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpseo_dashboard
instead of/wp/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpseo_dashboard
How can we reproduce this behavior?
