  • I've read and understood the contribution guidelines.
  • I've searched for any related issues and avoided creating a duplicate issue.

Please give us a description of what happened.

The link in the admin which links to /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpseo_titles#top#post-types in /js/dist/classic-editor.js on line 427 is incorrect.

Related: this is also defined in block-editor.js and elementor.js.

Please describe what you expected to happen and why.

The aforementioned link is shown on the tab 'Scheme' below the options.

Screenshot 2022-11-08 at 11 03 42

The link doesn't take into account that Wordpress can be installed in a sub-folder.

A related issue, after activating the plugin for the first time (in a sandbox environment), then clicking Skip to bypass the initial setup, also redirects to a link without the sub-folder.

I was directed to /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpseo_dashboard instead of /wp/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpseo_dashboard

How can we reproduce this behavior?

  1. install the plugin
  2. skip first time setup
  3. check tab 'scheme' in a single post

Just noticed, it also occurs in the "Skip installation" link in the bottom right of the initial install screen.

Hey @Beee4life,

Thank you for reaching out, apologies for the long wait.
The Skip installation link issue is known and has an issue too, see #20109.

It looks like this is a similar issue, where we are not using the WordPress Home URL correctly.

What's the issue then ? Doesn't seem like something that can't be fixed.

Can't you use ABSPATH ? That should be set on each installation.
