Please give us a description of what happened.

Under SEO it shows you a 'Google Preview' If I enter a meta description as it states that one is requested and then save the page all is well, but if I close the page, and reopen it, the meta description is not there and it just asks me again to enter one.

Please describe what you expected to happen and why.

After entering the meta description I presume that saving the page should save the meta description but it does not. So how do you save the meta description.

How can we reproduce this behavior?

  1. Go to edit post in word press
  2. scroll down to the 'Yoast SEO Premium' section
  3. Under the first tab 'SEO' scroll down to the section 'Google Preview' and then type something into 'Meta description'
  4. Save the post
  5. Close the window and reopen it.
  6. Load the previous post
  7. Edit Post
  8. scroll down to the Yoast SEO premium section and check that the meta is saved, and in my case it does not save.

@jamessawle2 if you have an issue with our Premium plugin, please contact our support engineers.

Since this seems to be a duplicate of #16835 I am going to close it as such.
