Make author metadata on pages webmasters choice

and we’ve removed the Open Graph and Twitter author metadata on pages and other non-post post types.

Bring it back 🙁 just because we in wordpress use page and not post doesn’t mean our articles are not shared and used as articles where we want this included. I think once again those things should be up to each webmaster to enable or disable what ever they prefer. You can select default to be disabled but we should be able to enable it if we want.

I'd guess that's related to PR #16385. There is similar issue #16334. I agree that doesn't affect too many users, but Yoast should use the filter wpseo_author_archive_post_types instead of hard-coded list in #16385 similar as author's sitemap works.
