Please give us a description of what happened.

CSS on the Breadcrumbs Settings tab does not properly consider taxonomies longer than 10 characters. As such, the area spills over. Simple CSS fix I imagine. Here is an image showing the problem.

Please describe what you expected to happen and why.

The area should compensate for taxonomies longer than 10 characters, for example, consider the image below:

How can we reproduce this behavior?

  1. Create some custom post_types and taxonomies
  2. name them using more than 10 characters
  3. head to Search Appearance -> Breadcrumbs

Technical info

  • WordPress version: Version 4.9.8
  • Yoast SEO version: Version 8.3
  • If relevant, which editor is affected (or editors):
  • Classic Editor
  • Gutenberg
  • Classic Editor plugin
  • Which browser is affected (or browsers):
  • IE11
  • Edge
  • Chrome
  • Firefox
  • Safari
  • Relevant plugins in case of a bug:
  • Tested with theme: did not test, inspect element reveals wordpress-seo/css/dist/yst_plugin_tools-830.min.css to be the culprit,
    more specifically
    .wpseo_content_wrapper label.select, .wpseo_content_wrapper label.textinput
