I’m running Tribler 7.11.0 64-bit on Windows 10 Pro 21H2.

The “size” column is not resized properly on The “Files” tab. It crops the “B” in B, MB, & GB. See images below.

ArchLinux

Manjaro

Qubes

Thanks for your report! I'm not able to reproduce this issue on my Mac, which makes me think that it might be related to Qt behavior on Windows (e.g., an incorrect computation of the text bounding box).

@kozlovsky since you are working on Windows, could you maybe try to reproduce this issue?

@kozlovsky any chance you can have a look at this (low priority issue though)?

On Windows, I usually have a display scaling of 125%, and with this scaling, the Size column is displayed correctly:

2022-10-21_15-15-28
2022-10-21_15-15-55

But when I increased scaling to 200%, I indeed encountered that the column size was incorrect:

2022-10-31_13-52-04
2022-10-31_13-52-45

As a simple way to fix the problem, we can add unbreakable spaces at the end of the text in the Size column, then it becomes a little wider and looks good with different scale settings:

125%:
2022-10-31_13-49-48
2022-10-31_13-49-22

200%:
2022-10-31_13-54-22
2022-10-31_13-56-05
