Shall Tribler implement anti-internet-censorship measures like in Tor? Like obfsproxy and so...

  • I have read CONTRIBUTING.rst
  • I have tried with the latest pre-release version and I still can reproduce the issue.
Tribler version/branch+revision:

v7.0.2

Operating system and version:

Linux

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Try to download something with anonymity on

Expected behavior:

It downloads, although slower.

Actual behavior:

It it stuck on "Building circuits".

Blocking incoming ISP-injected TCP resets (iptables -I INPUT -p tcp -m tcp --tcp-flags RST RST -j DROP) sometimes makes it start downloading.

Very interesting idea. Creating a set of active countermeasures would make for an interesting master's thesis.
