Why open a new duplicate issue if you know there are so many of those already? :-( Add your voice to #1006 instead..

Because there has been no replies to any of these threads by @miloyip and seem to be totally ignored.

The issue you mentioned is nearly 5 years old and still nothing. 18 months ago i specifically asked if @miloyip needed any assistance on getting to the point of a new release #1774. Would love to understand the roadblocks and work that needs to be done to push a release through, but if the maintainer does not supply the community with feedback we can't help make it happen. @nyh I am sure you agree since you commented as well on my previous post

It would be nice to get a new release as 1.1.0 no longer compiles on newer compilers.
