Is there an existing issue for this problem?

  • I have searched the existing issues

OrcaSlicer Version

2.1.1 ( but affecting previous Versions too )

Operating System (OS)

Windows

OS Version

Windows 11

Additional system information

No response

Printer

Voron 2.4 with ERCF running HappyHare Software

How to reproduce

  • Create a part requiring Top and Bottom Support Interfaces
  • Set Top Interface Spacing to 2mm and Bottom to 0
  • Activate Supports > Snug ( Manual )
  • Slice
  • Notice both the Top and Bottom having the same Spacing ( that of Top )

Actual results

Screenshot 2024-07-03 180058
In the above Example I've created a Part creating both Top and Bottom Interfaces on the same Layers.
Top is set to 2mm whereas Bottom is set to 0mm - The Preview shows Bottom to be using the settings for the Top one.

Expected results

Bottom Interface Spacing should use their own values allowing for the Top to be set to 0 for a superior finish while Bottom can be set to a rougher value saving Time and Material.
