OrcaSlicer Version

2.1.1 ( but affecting previous Versions too )

Operating System (OS)

Windows

OS Version

Windows 11

Additional system information

No response

Printer

Voron 2.4 with ERCF running HappyHare Software

How to reproduce

Create a Multi Color Part with the Color Changes happening withing the first few Layers ( creating an Inlay ) where the Inlay has fewer layers ( example 2 ) than the Bottom Shell count ( example 5 ).

Unless Ensure Vertical Shell Thickness is set to All ( which I dislike A LOT ) the remaining Layers above the "Accent Colors" will not be receiving the expected Solid Infill but Sparse Infill instead which is not what we want.

Actual results

Screenshot 2024-06-28 135851
With Ensure Vertical Shell Thickness set to None, Moderate & Critical Only the Accent Colors ( Black and White ) will not receive the same 5x Bottom Layer Treatment as the Main Color ( Red ) does.

Expected results

Screenshot 2024-06-28 134942
Identical Settings except for Ensure Vertical Shell Thickness now set to All.
