Description of the problem

After disconnecting from AirPlay fails to resume. Playback would also resume at the very beginning of the content it appears.

I suspect the issue might be related to recent versions of iOS. It is not a regression associated with current changes in our codebase, as version 1.0.1 suffers from the same issue.

No response

Reproducibility

Always

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open the Pillarbox demo.
  2. Play some DRM content (e.g. Top Models).
  3. Enable AirPlay.
  4. Seek somewhere in the content.
  5. Disconnect AirPlay.

Playback fails to resume and the position is reset to 0. With non-protected content no issue arises.

Tested with:

  • iPhone 15 Pro running iOS 17.5
  • Apple TV HD running 17.4 / macOS 14.4 as receivers

Library version

1.0.1

Operating system

iOS 17.5
